Admission Process

At VRA Schools, we strive to make the admission process simple, transparent, and welcoming for prospective students and their families. We admit students based on academic potential, personal character, and the ability to thrive in our learning environment.

Step 1: Application

  • Get the AIS Entrance Exam Voucher from Zenith Bank Ghana or GCB Bank
  • Complete the online application form on our exam portal or contact the school’s admissions office. (+233 55 324 8000)
  • Submit a copy of the completed form along with supporting documents, including:
    • Birth certificate or proof of age
    • Previous school report(s)
    • Passport-sized photographs
    • Any relevant certificates or awards

Step 2: Entrance Assessment / Interview

  • Entrance Examinations are conducted for applicants at 3 Centers (Chemu SHS – Tema, WAEC Hall – Accra, Akosombo International School, Akosombo). Centers are subject to review.
  • For younger students, assessments focus on foundational literacy, numeracy, and social readiness.
  • Senior High School (SHS 1) applicants are assessed based on 3 academic subjects;
    • English Language
    • Mathematics
    • Integrated Science

Step 4: Orientation

  • All new students are invited to an orientation programme designed to familiarize them with the school’s rules, routines, academic expectations, and facilities.
  • Boarders receive additional guidance on dormitory life, routines, and responsibilities.

Important Notes

  • Applications to the Primary and Pre-School are accepted throughout the academic year, subject to available spaces.
  • Prospective students are encouraged to submit applications early to secure a place.
