Programme & Time Schedule

Our academic programme is structured to promote focused learning, personal development, and rest. The school year is divided into three terms, each starting with preparatory activities for boarders and culminating in review and assessment periods.

Start of Term (Boarders only)

(a) Fridays(reporting day) Boarders report by 5:00pm

(b) Saturday: Dormitories and school compound cleaned and organized.

(c) Sunday: Final classroom checks; 6:30 pm Church service for boarders.

Daily Schedule (JHS & SHS – Boarders)

05:00am – 6:30am Wake-up call, personal hygiene, cleaning of boarding house
06:50am – 7:30am Breakfast for boarders
07:40am – 8: 00am Morning Assembly
08:00am – 10: 40am Morning lesson periods (Periods 1-4) with snack break at ~10:40 am.
11:00am – 01: 00pm Midday lessons (Periods 5-7), followed by lunch at ~01:00 pm.
02:10pm – 03: 30pm Afternoon lessons (Period 8 and Period 9).
03:35 pm – 04:20 pm Siesta/rest time for boarders.
04:25 pm – 05:55 pm Evening session — this may include part-time programmes (such as SAT/Cambridge) or games for boarders.
05:55 pm – 06:25 pm Prepare for supper.
06:30 pm – 07: 00 pm Supper for Boarders
07:10 pm – 08:55 pm Evening Studies (prep for home works, assignments).
• 09:05 pm – 09:55 pm Time to prepare for bed (personal hygiene, settle down).
• 10:00 pm Lights Out

Note: On Tuesdays and Thursdays after school there are club meetings (skills acquisition, academic enrichment) instead of Siesta.


Weekend Schedule (Boarders)

    Saturday

  • Morning: Wake up at usual time; general cleaning of dormitories and surroundings (if at start of term)
  • Daytime: Transition to games, part-time classes (SAT/Cambridge) or supervised excursions (depending on school program).
  • Evening: Supper followed by rec-time or supervised activities.
  • Lights out: ~10:00 pm.

    Sunday

  • Morning: Breakfast, optional church or campus devotion.
  • Afternoon: Lunch, rest or light study, visiting hours for parents/guardians as applicable.
  • Evening: Supper, final prep for Monday, dorm check.
  • Lights out: ~10:00 pm.

Time for Day Students

For day students, the school day typically runs from about 7:00 am – 2:30 pm, with breaks and lessons structured to align with the boarding student schedule. Co-curricular and club activities take place after school hours.
